She disagreed with some of the aggressive lines written for her character, prompting Whedon to threaten that he could make her look foolish in the movie. Despite feeling fearful after the confrontation, Gadot remained firm in her stance. She and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins sought a resolution by meeting with then-Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara.

After the incident, I immediately raised the issue with Warner Brothers and they handled it well,” Gal mentioned. “I always believe in standing up for what is right, even if it leaves you in disbelief,” she added. “If he said it to me, then there’s a high possibility he said it to others. Therefore, I felt compelled to speak up and let people know that such behavior is unacceptable.”

Gal’s next project will see her sharing the screen with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in the action-packed comedy Red Notice, set to premiere on Netflix in November. Additionally, she is set to portray the iconic Egyptian queen Cleopatra in an upcoming film directed by Jenkins. Fans can also expect to see her in a third installment of Wonder Woman alongside Jenkins in the future.
