The unexpected partnership between the two began in October 2020 when they joined forces for the Duke of Cambridge’s ambitious global environmental competition. Renowned naturalist Sir David Attenborough, a long-time advocate for environmental conservation, is part of the Earthshot Prize council responsible for selecting the winners. Among this year’s winners are projects dedicated to restoring coral reefs, addressing food waste issues, and combating air pollution.
Struggles: Talking about her entry into the industry, she mentioned facing different prejudices, specifically highlighting her Colombian background.
The judging panel boasts renowned figures such as David Attenborough, Cate Blanchett, Queen Rania of Jordan, and Shakira.

She expressed a desire for her children to live in a better world than the one she experienced.
Additionally, Shakira opened up about struggling with self-doubt despite projecting confidence to the public.
Oops! She shared about her most memorable beauty blunder, revealing, “I was coloring my hair the night before the Super Bowl, using the same dye I always use” (seen at the 2020 Super Bowl).
“I have this inner conflict. It’s strange, because at times, I feel incredibly empowered that I can handle everything, but it’s always accompanied by self-doubt.”
Recalling the mishap, she added, “So, there I was, coloring my hair the night before the Super Bowl with my usual dye… and my hair decided to go completely black! It was also my birthday, almost midnight. The next day, I had to look flawless and fresh for the big game. But no, drama had to strike, especially before the Super Bowl! I was panicking.”
