It will reportedly take inspiration from 2013 book Top Of The Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV, written by CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter.
The series is also expected to draw on the rivalry between NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America.
